- It encodes a link to your LINE profile or Official Account. Scanning it with the LINE app (or a phone camera that recognizes the link) opens a chat or an "add friend" screen directly.
- What should I enter — my LINE ID or a link?
- Either works: type just your LINE ID without the @ symbol, or paste the full line.me link if you already have one from LINE's own sharing options.
- Where do I find my LINE ID?
- Open LINE, go to Settings → Profile, and your LINE ID is listed there (you may need to set one first if you haven't already).
- Does this work for LINE Official Accounts, not just personal profiles?

- Is my LINE ID sent to a server?
