Nifbag is a small collection of free, browser-based utilities — QR codes, barcodes, passwords, placeholder text, and more.

The idea behind Nifbag is simple: everyday tools like a QR code generator or a password generator shouldn't require an account, a subscription, or sending your data to a server just to get a quick result. Each tool on this site is built to do one job well, load fast, and work the same way every time.

Everything runs client-side. When you generate a QR code or a password here, the work happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript — the page doesn't send what you type to a server to produce the result. You can read more about what that means for your data on the Privacy Policy page.

How the site is built

Nifbag is a static site — the pages you see are pre-built rather than assembled on the fly, which is part of why they load quickly. Tools are implemented in plain JavaScript, without tracking scripts or third-party analytics embedded in the pages.
