About Nifbag

Nifbag is a small collection of free, browser-based utilities — QR codes, barcodes, passwords, placeholder text, and more.

The idea behind Nifbag is simple: everyday tools like a QR code generator or a password generator shouldn't require an account, a subscription, or sending your data to a server just to get a quick result. Each tool on this site is built to do one job well, load fast, and work the same way every time.

Everything runs client-side. When you generate a QR code or a password here, the work happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript — the page doesn't send what you type to a server to produce the result. You can read more about what that means for your data on the Privacy Policy page.

What we care about

• Runs in your browser

  Every tool on Nifbag uses JavaScript that runs on your own device. The text, links, or numbers you enter are processed locally and never uploaded anywhere.

• No sign-up, ever

  There are no accounts, no email gates, and no "sign up to download" walls. Open a tool and use it.

• No hidden limits

  Generate as many QR codes, barcodes, or passwords as you need. There's no daily cap or paywall on the free features.

• Fast by design

  Pages are small and static, so tools load quickly and work well even on a slow connection.

How the site is built

Nifbag is a static site — the pages you see are pre-built rather than assembled on the fly, which is part of why they load quickly. Tools are implemented in plain JavaScript, with no advertising or tracking scripts. The one exception is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service that reports aggregate traffic numbers — see the Privacy Policy for details.

What's on the site today

Nifbag currently covers QR codes (including WiFi, vCard, social-profile, and payment-specific generators like Pix and VietQR), barcodes, a password generator, and a Lorem Ipsum generator — all listed on the homepage and organized by category. The site is also available in Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Thai, each with tools tailored to that market rather than a straight machine translation of the English versions.
