These terms cover your use of Nifbag (this website and the tools on it). By using the site, you agree to them. They're written in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate, but they're still the terms that apply.

Using the tools

The tools on Nifbag — QR code, barcode, password, and lorem ipsum generators, and others added over time — are provided free of charge, for personal and commercial use, without a sign-up requirement. You're welcome to use the output they produce (a generated QR code, barcode, or piece of placeholder text) however you like, including in commercial projects.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Nifbag to generate content for anything illegal, to encode content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others (for example, a QR code that redirects to a phishing or malware page), or to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.

No warranty

Nifbag's tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We work to keep them accurate and reliable — for example, generated barcodes and QR codes are built to standard formats — but we can't guarantee a tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for every specific purpose. You're responsible for checking that output (a barcode, a QR code, a generated password) works correctly for your intended use before relying on it, especially for things like retail packaging or print production.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nifbag and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools — including issues caused by a generated password, code, or file not working as expected in your specific context.

No guaranteed availability

Nifbag is a free service, and while we aim to keep it available and fast, we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The site, or individual tools, may be modified, added to, or occasionally unavailable without advance notice.

Intellectual property

The Nifbag name, site design, and code are the property of their creators. The output a tool generates for you — your QR code content, your generated password, your placeholder text — is yours to use freely.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of Nifbag after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
